Ready Set Plan
Do you have a disaster recovery plan? Are you really prepared? The difference in surviving in business depends on how well you prepare for the unexpected. If a disaster struck, how would your company do? This session is designed for the IT personnel responsible for systems availability. Using the Business Continuity Model, the session breaks down the various components of the recovery planning as it relates to the availability and recovery of computing services.

Business Continuity for 21st Century
Complacent DR thinking is a classic risk management mistake that will cost your organization dearly in a disaster.  People, Technology and Geography are common critical points of failure in a regional disaster.  Now organizations can choose from a host of technologies to incrementally improve or completely transform their backup, recovery, and enhance availability requirements for the Data Center. Data protection techniques have made great strides as it relates to recovery of IBM Power and other DC platforms. The seminar will provide the attendee an overview of the following fundamentals:
1.      Backup & Recovery Best Practices
2.      Cloud  – Virtualization for DR
3       Systems Availability
